Position of Boutique and Web Boutique Manager at CANTIN traditions

locally. Since 2019, our commitment to local craftsmanship has come to life in our charming neighborhood boutique, located in Villeray, Montreal. This warm showcase highlights not only our bags, but also our deep attachment to the exceptional know-how of Quebec and Canada. Much of our product selection is also available on our online store, which is experiencing significant growth.

Required profile :
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, extremely
self-starter, organized, reliable and with excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate has experience in retail, supply management, and online store management, including with Shopify.
An entrepreneurial attitude and an interest in design and crafts are
assets. This person will be the essential pivot of our magnificent boutique
Villeray.

Role and responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the owner, the successful candidate will:
Greet and advise customers in store
Manage supplies, inventory, and update the online store
(Shopify)
Participate in the visual presentation in store
Follow-up with suppliers and collaborators, and contribute to the search for
new products
Participate in updating the online store, including drafting
content, product photography and updating according to the seasons, new products
In collaboration, prepare online orders and provide customer service
Contribute to marketing strategy and write content for social media

Required Experience:
Retail management experience

Experience in customer service and staff supervision (very small team)
Experience in purchasing, follow-up with suppliers, inventory management
Experience with managing a web store (Shopify) is an asset
Experience working with different social media platforms is an asset
Interest in photography and/or content writing is an asset

Working conditions :
Permanent position
Flexible schedule of 28 to 35 hours per week
Hybrid work with in-store presence from Wednesday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
20% off all products in store
Hourly or weekly salary, depending on the candidate
