The return and exchange conditions described below apply to all online purchases:
- Cantin gladly accepts returns of defective or unsuitable merchandise within 15 days of the original purchase.
- Modified items are not eligible for refund or exchange.
- Items that are returned incomplete or damaged will not be accepted for refund or exchange. All original tags and labels must be attached, and all accessories must be included.
- Merchandise purchased online cannot be returned or exchanged at any retail outlet carrying our products.
- ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.
If the item is not defective but you wish to return or exchange an it for another reason (see conditions below for defective items), you will be responsible for all shipping charges, and for ensuring that the item is in the same condition as it was when you received it.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
At Cantin, quality is our highest priority. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will gladly accept any defective item for exchange.Do not hesitate to contact us immediately upon receipt of defective merchandise for detailed instructions on how to return your merchandise for exchanged. The defective item must be returned within 15 days of the date you received it.
Once we receive the item to be exchanged, we will immediately process the new order. The replacement item, if available, will be shipped as quickly as possible, free of charge.If the exact item is out of stock or discontinued, we will provide a full refund as soon as the return is processed.
The refund will be made in the form of the original payment. If the purchase was made using a credit card, the full amount will be refunded directly to that card; if the purchase was made using PayPal, the payment will be refunded to your PayPal balance. Refunds take approximately two weeks from the processing date to appear on your statementor in your account.
PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING MERCHANDISE PURCHASED ONLINE
- Contact our customer service team at info@cantintraditions.com before returning the item. Include the model and colour of the item, the reason for the return, your full name, and your receipt number. We will evaluate the information and offer an exchange or store credit.
- We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the return.

RETURNING ORDERS WITHIN CANADA
We strongly suggest using a priority shipping service that provides tracking information and delivery confirmation for your merchandise (we are not responsible for lost ordamaged packages). Once we receive the item, we will process your request as quickly as possible. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for any return shipping charges, except if there is an error made on our part. If an error occurs, a credit note equivalent to the cost of a standard shipping charge will be issued.
RETURNING ORDERS FROM THE US
All returns from the United States must be sent exclusively through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Packages with customs duties will be refused. All returned items must be declared as a "return of Canadian merchandise" on the customs declaration form. If this detail is omitted, the package may be refused and returned to sender.
RETURNING INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
All international returns must be declared as a "return of Canadian merchandise" on the customs declaration form. If this detail is omitted, additional charges may apply and be deducted from your refund. Packages with customs duties will be refused.
